World War 1 memorial

St. Margaret's hosts the War Memorial in honour of those from our town who gave their life for therir country in the first world war.

Arthur Sparkes has researched  every single soldier and sailor on the war memorial and has created a full record of their military service. These records, which are now the property of St Margaret's Church PCC, are available to be perused in the Memorial Chapel alongside the War Memorial. They are not to be removed from the Memorial Chapel.

If you would like to find out about a person from Lowestoift whose name appears on this memorial then please do come along and study this fantastic resource.

Any corrections, amendments or additions required will be made as and when new information becomes available. Information may be sent to info1@stmargaretslowestoft.co.uk
